Jr. Hoopers Basketball Developmental Program

The Michigan Junior Hoopers Fundamental program is entering its 8th season and is the fastest growing basketball program for ages 4-9 in Metro Detroit. Players will experience success, as each drill/instruction will be adapted to a players appropriate skill level. The Junior Hoopers program is also a feeder program to the Midwest Athletics Bitty-ball league for more advanced players. REGISTER HERE

2018-19 Season Sessions-All programs are on Saturdays-9:00am-10:00am

  • Session I-Fall 2018 | Saturday, October 13th to Saturday, November 10th 
  • Session II-Winter 2019 | Saturday, January 12th to February 9th 
  • Session III-Winter 2019 | Saturday, February 23rd to Saturday, March 16th 

Program Overview:
Learn the importance of listening |Work on improving body control | Learn what the triple threat position is and when/why to use it | Gain strength and confidence in ball handling | Learn and practice proper shooting mechanics | Learn different types of passes & when to execute | Team concepts

  DIrector: Rob Crandall Jr. is in his 5th season as Jr. Hoopers director and is the owner of FLASH Training. Coach Crandall graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2005 with a B.S. in Movement Science.

Crandall has been a part of many collegiate and high school programs within the past 7 years. Also, he has spent time working with young players in the middle schools and through AAU programs. Crandall looks forward to improving players’ games and lives. His final goal is to make a difference and be a positive role model.
